MBW is moving this week  from its current location to Moycullen Enterprise Park – right above Unit 6, next to the pump track and about 100m from the trails in Moycullen.  There’ll be an official opening event for Unit 6 and the shop on the weekend of March 3rd/4th. We’re having a membership night on Thursday Feb 16th at 8pm in Unit 6, Moycullen. If you’re interested in joining or re-joining, come along – there’ll be free tea!

All members must join Cycling Ireland for insurance purposes – you are not a member of the club until you have completed your Cycling Ireland membership as well. For 2012 annual CI membership starts from €15 for introductory senior and €5 for youth.

1) Introductory – if you haven’t been in CI before and are just a leisure cyclist (€15)
2) Non-competition – as above but were a member before (€25)
3) Club Competition – if you are only going to do club events and not national events
4) Restricted Competition – if you want to do club events + race MTB nationally
5) Full Competition – means you can race more than one discipline eg MTB + Road etc nationally

Sunday the 26^th of February Charity Sportif Cycle for NCBI and Ras Chonamara . Cycle the Ras stage 85km of scenic back drops starting in Oughterard village heading out towards Maam , Leenaun , Inaagh Valley, Recess and home for a well earned cuppa and sandwiches. Refreshment stop at Leenaun. Registration between 9:30 and 10:00 am in Fahertys Bar the Square Oughterard Cycle starts at 10:30am. 25 euro registration
